Destination Salem is the city's official city tourist organization. The National Park Service operates the Visitor Center.

 

 

You can get Destination Salem's free Visitor's Guide online, or from the office (tel 877-725-3662) at 54 Turner Street, Salem MA 01970 (map).

The National Park Service maintains the Visitor Center at 2 New Liberty Street, near the Museum Place Mall near the Peabody Essex Museum in the city center, about a 10-minute walk from the Salem Depot (train station).

North of Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau (tel 978-977-7760), 17 Peabody Square, Peabody MA 01960, provides information on all the towns on the North Shore.
