LaGuardia Airport, in New York's City's borough of Queens, is 8 miles (13 km) east of midtown Manhattan (map). LaGuardia is the closest of New York City's three major airports (LaGuardia, JFK and Newark) to Manhattan. New York Airport Service Express Buses connect LaGuardia with Manhattan, stopping at Grand Central Terminal, the Port Authority Bus Terminal (buses to New England) and Penn Station (Amtrak trains to New England). The fare is $12 one-way. They also run buses between LaGuardia and JFK, departing every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour. The trip takes one hour and costs $13 one-way.
