The palatial summer "cottage" of the Tinney family for half a century, has been sold and is now private property, no longer open to the public.

Belcourt Castle was another creation of Richard Morris Hunt, built in 1891.

Oliver Belmont and his wife, formerly Mrs William Vanderbilt, had Hunt make them a castle in the style of Louis XIII (1610-43).

In 2013 the castle was sold and is no longer open to the public.
